As we announced at the ADS Victorian Championships on May 4, the headline act at the 68th Australian DanceSport Championship is none other than World, British, UK and International Professional Latin Champions Michael Malitowski and Joanna Leunis.

At the WDSF AGM in Berlin yesterday, a joint motion was raised and carried in relation to the Athletes code.
The WDSF Presidium in support of member concerns has withdrawn changes to the athletes code.
The following outcome has occurred:
- Presidium has withdrawn its motion to widen the WDSF Sanctioning Policy
- The nine member motion put forward by Germany, USA, Denmark, New Zealand, Canada, Sweden, Iceland, Wales and Finland has also been withdrawn
- All athlete and adjudicator banning has been suspended
- All suspended athletes and adjudicators may apply to their National Sport Federation for reinstatement

The dates have been confirmed for the 68th Australian DanceSport Championship.
The event will run from Friday 6th December - Sunday 8th December 2013, once again at the home of DanceSport in Australia, Hisense Arena.

DSA Dress code will be enforced at the Australian DanceSport Championship.
Couples will not be permitted to take the floor if their dress does not comply strictly to the rules.

Competitors, please note you must be registered with the WDSF Member Body in your place of residence. In the case of New Zealand competitors couples in the amateur category must hold a DanceSport New Zealand licence.
